Repurposing old tech
Sorry if this had been asked before, but I am completely new to this and excited to get started.
I am beginning to understand the standard build, but I am curious of the feasibility of converting an e-reader into a writerDeck. I have a nook model bnrv300. It has built in wifi capabilities and an SD slot, but no integrated Bluetooth.
My dream would be to either disassemble or jailbreak the original reader, utilize the screen and whatever other brains are useful, somehow attach a keyboard, and run a word processor with spell check and such.
What skills would I have to develop to make this possible? Is the device capable of handing the software necessary? What is the likelihood I will ruin the device?
I will not be crushed if essentially it isnt worth the effort, but please be kind in explaining why.
