This is my 23 jetta been doing some mods overtime to it, last few days I've ran a secondary battery to the trunk to power my lighting setup for hours, it charges only when the vehicle is on due to a DC to DC charger with RF switches for eaxh light. I knew the underglow was illegal but first night out doing pics I got pulled over for the front marker lights lol. Probably going to be a parking lot feature from now on, currently can run everything including the interior lighting for 7 hrs still running at this time with a 120 amp hr marine battery. I'm running an auxiliary battery to the trunk on my 23 jetta to power a lighting setup for hours, I'm using an isolater. Would it set off any error codes with the electric system? I'd assume not as it's a different circuit just attached to the main battery but figured I'd ask
