Showering in junior high/high school
I (M52 from Denmark) was in a mixed gender shower/sauna setting this past weekend and ran into some old friends from back in high school (back in the 80's).
We sat down talking about old days, and I'm not sure how but at a point we came to talk about the showering experience in junior high/high school when it comes til gym/swim practice.
As I recall my observation was that when we had a female teacher she often came into the shower room while we were showering to tell us when we had 10 minutes left. Our male teacher rarely did that.
This didn't seen to happens in the girls shower room.
Before swim training the teacher had to check that everyone showered before entering the pool area. In the boys shower room this was usually a male, but sometimes it was a female.
In the girls shower room it was always a female.
Was this also a thing in your high school?
