I have a boatload of potassium alum powder and many preserved insects specimens. My previous runs with alum have yielded pretty large and boxy structures. I was wondering if anyone had ideas for delicate, and predictably placed crystals on these specimens. Fully submerge? Partial dip? Can I weight them down or will they fuse with the weight? I've only done a few projects so far and any advice from yall experts would be great! Thanks
