Hi all, I was actively bidding on a property. Yesterday, the one other bidder made an offer, and then today I made a higher offer. I then received an email later today saying that the seller had accepted the other bidders offer. What legal rights do I have? Do you think something weird is going on? I did a quick Google and the auctioneer is legally required to pass on any offers received, even after it goes sale agreed. What would you do in my situation? Anyone know if I still have a chance to buy the house?
