Hi everyone,
Starting our axlotl journey and had some questions.

My nearly 5 year old has been obsessed with a axlotl’s since he was 3 so we have decided to get one as a family pet. I have read up on how to care for them etc.
we are picking up our 55gallon I think it is tank (we will only have 1) this weekend and we will start cycling the water.

My main questions are 1. Does anyone recommend a certain chiller? We live in Australia and then also

2. Does the type of axlotl change anything? Should I be looking for a specific type?

3. I’m only buying the axlotl once the tank is ready in which case can it go straight in or do I still need to tub it first?

I hope these aren’t stupid questions.
