Have an old Seagate Backup Plus Portable HDD (1 TB) that shows up in device manager when plugged in but not anywhere else - file explorer, CrystalDiskInfo and neither on cmd using the wmic logicaldisk command. Can't hear any clicking noise from the drive and the power indicator LED lights up when it's plugged in.

What can I do to identify the issue and any potential fixes?

EDIT - I can confirm it's not an issue with the cable since I used the same cable with a different HDD and it worked perfectly fine. Also, when bringing the faulty Seagate drive close to my ear, I can hear whirring sounds so there is definitely some activity happening in there.
