One kind of homage, i guess.
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this before, but I found it pretty curious: one of the songs most associated with The Backrooms and its memes is the Al Bowlly's Heartaches version produced for the Everywhere at the End of Time project, “Just a Burning Memory.” I’m not sure if the idea of a door marked on the wall with blue tape is meant to be a homage or reference to this iconic project. I’d like to believe it is. What you think?
