Why always brother-sister relationship put on pedestal in comparison of brother-brother relationship in most of found family books.

I am not trying to stir any debate and genuinely want to talk about it.

Recently I finished the yuvaan and Mahira duology yesterday. One thing which always found in these found family trope that only ( brother- sister relationship) would be put on pedestal while completely neglecting the brothers relationship with their remaining brothers.

Here in this book. Yuvaan manipulated and lied to his sister about his intention for manipulating FMC into marriage. It's wrong, we get it. But same yuvaan did worse to his elder brothers, specially yuvraj, whom he borderline threatened and blackmailed him knowing his elder brother love for him. Same goes for vivaan whom he threw under the bus and kinda use him to get more sympathy from him. All these things are very much wrong and deserve to be called out at similiar scale.

The problem is how these are handled in books.

Yuvaan spend 3/4 of second book for apologising to his sister again and again until the very Last.

Now compared it to how yuvaan apologising to yuvraj, to whom he literally did the worse had been reduced to single humourous sentence.

P.S - And another borderline irritating thing is Mahira behaviour towards yuvraj. He basically had done nothing to her ever and even act like family to her for most of time in second book and still her trolling him always reduced to some comical scenes where author expect us to find humour in.

Last time i bought agastya trilogy, I was thoroughly dissapointed , so I choose to wait for yuvaan books to complete before buying any updates further.

yuvaan duology will be completed this week, so I would appreciate reviews here, since I have been seeing mixed reviews of those books.
