I kept waking up and re-entering the same disturbing dream
Just had one of the weirdest dreams of my life.
In the dream, it felt like I had some kind of split personality. Whenever the “other person” took over, I couldn’t remember anything he did. The strange part is that I woke up around 4 or 5 times during the night, but every time I went back to sleep, I returned to the same dream.
But it wasn’t like continuing from where I left off. Every time I returned, the situation had changed, almost as if the other version of me had continued living in that world while I was awake in real life.
At one point, I found out that he had messaged a bunch of people asking for money and swearing at others. My bank account was empty. My parents were crying on the phone asking why I did all this, but they never actually explained what happened. Even in the dream, I had no idea what the “other me” had done.
Then an old friend I haven’t seen in 5–6 years suddenly appeared and started searching for me, trying to take me somewhere. The whole dream had this heavy, unsettling feeling that’s hard to explain.
Even after waking up for real, it still felt weird for a while.
