I figured out why i don’t like new yeat

I know everyone shits on his newer stuff especially adl and i don’t like it either but i never really understood what was missing . Today it finally clicked bro i was listening to 4l then i tried to give griddle a listen and it’s not like the beat flow etc anything is bad , but his voice is annoying . I know some people call it a hillbilly accent im not from the us so i can’t really tell if the way he talks changed but his voice is definetly worse . Like on 4l it sounds smooth af idk if he changed his preset or grew up or drugs did something to his voice but imo the biggest problem is the voice . I just don’t enjoy it .

If i could give advice to 2slimey

Idk if people in this sub troll or genuienly fuck with his music . You guys are calling him emperor of mexico and shit so i think some of you are probably just like 14 . Anyway i feel as if around the time he had his lil blow up with the super distorted sound he obv capitilized off of that and got to where he is now which i think was the correct move . I also really like his album anxiety or whatever it’s called but the problem is either the songs are genuienly 10/10 or unlistinable like the one with babytron or fuck up the party rolling of molly . Imo he should focus more on improving the sound that he had on bringemout because even though the beat is insane i find his flow and vocals crazy hard on that . But with more anxiety he just over did the distortion thing i think now it would be a good time for him to drop more tracks like vet where the flows and vocals is what actually makes the song and keep dropping shit like bring em out and developping that sound even further . Because if he tries to just make it more ridicilous each time it will get old fast that’s just my opinion tho .
