Bali Airport Transportation Misunderstanding
Hello- I came into Bali last night, but there was a little bit of a misunderstanding with my airport transportation. My villa asked me if I needed transportation but I said I had booked through a private company already. When a driver sent me a WhatsApp message, he introduced himself and he said he was “my driver to (….) villa” which made me think he was the one I hired through the private company. Gave him all my flight information and whatnot. Turns out, he wasn’t the one I hired and when I showed up, there were two drivers waiting for me (one from the villa and one from the private company). I ended up going with the one from the private company since that’s what I paid for but the driver from the villa sent me a Whatsapp about how he’s upset and how I wasted his time and money and I actually feel really bad. I offered to provide him some sort of compensation (even though I don’t think I’m in the wrong), but he hasn’t responded. What would you do?
