The implantation of 5G wasn't about internet speed, and Data Centers are not about AI
Before the rollout of 5G, back in 2019, 4G was fast enough for almost every use case of a smartphone. It offered a significant increase in speed and coverage in comparison to 3G, allowing many things that weren't previously possible, such as high-definition videocalls and video streaming.
What did 5G bring to the table? A greater internet speed (for what, exactly?), more precise network-based location accuracy, and the enabling of IoT (Internet of Things)
Taking into account that 5G requires installing 3~10x times of antennas, since it has a very poor coverage per antenna, do these advancements justify the investment of duplicating almost the entire existing cellular network?
Of course not. Nobody wanted nor needed 5G. It was imposed with the sole objective of monitoring and data-harvesting the population. Governments and tech moguls implanted 5G while we were distracted with the "2020 situation", siphoning money from taxpayers, once again, to their detriment.
Nowadays, Data Centers are exactly the same. Nobody needs them, but trillions of dollars are being funneled towards them.
This is not about AI, the same way that 5G wasn't about speed. It's always been about surveillance and control. We're living through yet another power grab by the technocrats and authoritarian governments
