I made a post yesterday asking about digital photo frames, and someone suddenly commented:

“nine days ago you already talked about this. are you suffering from dementia?”

At first I thought they were just disagreeing with me, but then I realized they had literally gone through my older posts/history just to come back and mock me personally.

And honestly… it made me feel weirdly unsettled.

I know Reddit is public, but there’s something so creepy about a stranger silently reading through your profile history looking for “gotchas” instead of just responding to the actual post.

Maybe I’m overreacting, but the level of hostility and aggression feels really disproportionate over something as harmless as a digital photo frame 😭

Does this happen often here.... How do you deal with people like this without feeling genuinely uncomfortable.... I I already privated my profile right after, but is there anything else I should do?

I’ve been thinking about getting one for my parents, mostly because I don’t call as often as I probably should.

In theory it sounds perfect:
just send photos and they can kind of “see” your life without needing social media.

But I’ve also seen people say they end up unused after a while. Does it actually make you feel more connected, or not really?

Would love to hear honest experiences — good or bad.

woke up like 20 mins ago and still sitting in my head.

a strange dream...clean water was basically only for rich people, everyone else was drinking this slightly dirty water. not deadly, but you wouldn’t feel great about it either. and the weird part was nobody was freaking out about it
it was just normal?? also all the clean water was somewhere in the mountains
and cities had the worst water, like the further “down” you were the worse it got

idk why that part stuck but it did

anyway I got curious after waking up and randomly looked stuff up
apparently big AI/data centers actually need really clean water for cooling??

not saying it’s related or anything, just felt like a weird overlap
