My first leg day was a disaster

Started my weight loss journey in January at 270lbs. Weighed in at 240lbs last week. I’ve been going to the gym since February and have been taking it more serious in the past few months. As I’ve been stuck at 240 for a while now I asked my gym coach to make me a new plan as I felt I had outgrown the one I made myself.

Today she assigned me my first leg routine. After completing her Upper Body workout that she assigned me yesterday and feeling fantastic after, I was actually looking forward to today and using a ton of new equipment I’d never touched before.

I’m just after walking out of the gym and I can only describe how I feel as frustrated. I struggled with literally every exercise with form and weights and was wasting a lot of time having to consult YouTube tutorials and taking longer rests. I made it to my final two groups of sets before I had to leave the gym to make way for the cycling class. I’ve never left a workout unfinished until today and I feel almost embarrassed by it.

Just wondering how you guys deal with days like this. I’m still relatively new to serious workouts and I’ve thought that I’ve been doing really well so far until today knocked me down.
