i have been grinding typing for the past 2 months my speed is fast but the acuuracy is terrible any usefull advice?

Just got this bad boy in mint conditon for 2$

But there is a big problem, when i connect to the VGA

there is no color Green, the red blue is working

While in the menu the screen cam show collor green

is this a big problem or is just the cable or its the motherboard? i am fairly new tot this, can anyone help

ps: i tried to bend the cable in different directions and at the port looks clean.
