The biggest recode issue isn't the game itself, it's the Community/Players.
I'll start by saying that i'm playing pc2 since a long ass time (started to take it more serious and grind on mimic update) and i see the community "Grow".
However i'm lying because this community never learned to Walk and never learned of their mistakes. The community/players are the biggest issue pc2 got in precode and now in recode.
The "OGs" pc2 fans don't know what they actually want, they've been complaining since 2024 about everything and when they get, they say "it sucks, i want (Insert thing) like it was before!".
The Gamemodes removal, certain maps removal, Redesigns, PCX entire update, Halloween/Christmas events being either "Too easy to get everything" or "It takes too much time"
Extremely Survivor-Sided, Extremely Killer-Sided, etc. And when blade fixed these things, the community cried again saying "Why they nerfed (Insert broken thing), no one wanted that 😭😭😭"
The community also lives throwing shit to other asyms and glazing pc2 (before complaining about the game again) like if we were dod fans, throwing shit to Asyms like Bbn, forsaken, OM, etc, HEAR ME OUT. It's okay to not like a asym and say what are the issues of those games, it's also good to maybe throw a small insult to the asym because you're crashing out due to how bad your experience was, It's NOT good to live throwing shit to those asyms without playing them at all, throwing shit to the devs, slurs, etc.
The players in-game makes any new player want to leave in the first match and go to other asyms due to how sweat (Not try-hard btw, i mean directly not talking or being social with anyone and taking the game too seriously) and toxic to others are, abusing bugs, exploting, teaming, breaking 500 rules of the game just to win, voting ass maps for certain killers on-purpose, etc.
The community also makes any new player lose any hope on this game and leave it, maybe they even hate it. If you join the subreddit you're going to see insults to forsaken and hate towards any single change pc2 gets. If you check pc2 on twitter is filled with insults and slurs to other asyms, if you check pc2 on tiktok is Giga-Chad skibidi sigma 67 boy edits of "Pc2 is better than wokesaken 🤢 🤢 🤢"
How do we fix this? Easy, get new players/members. Pc2 OGs don't want to understand that the recode wants to be DIFFERENT of what precode was, and that the game is supposed to be fun and not be taking too seriously 24/7, they don't want to understand that they shouldn't throw hate to other asyms and compare them to pc2 every single day. So instead of making them understand, it's better to make some of our friends play the game and teach them slowly, spread the joy.
HOLD ON, Not every Pc2 OG is like this, i'm a Pc2 Og, maybe you're a Pc2 Og, maybe you're actually Wrecked gaming himself, but most part of the community is like this (like 3/4)
