I started tremfya in the beginning of February and when I started I was on 40mg of prednisone. I have been on a slow taper since March. When I got down to 10mg I started having symptoms again - loose stools, blood, mucus, waking in the middle of the night and pain in stomach. My doctor had me get bloodwork done and a stool sample. Got the bloodwork results back but still waiting on the stool sample results. I’m just wondering if this is normal that once your start tapering you see symptoms again? Does this mean my body is adjusting to the tremfya without the steroid or does this mean the tremfya isn’t working? I should also note I’ve been on prednisone since July 😩
