I’m thinking of starting web development, but I’m confused about where to start. Should I first learn frontend with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and then move to frameworks like React, or should I start with backend using something like Node.js?

I’m also interested in AI/ML, so I’m not sure which one I should focus on first.

What would you suggest?

Is it just me or did first year engineering feel kinda useless for coding?

I honestly feel like I learned more in 11th 12th. The stuff I actually wanted to learn… didn’t really happen, and my skill level feels almost the same.

Not trying to complain, just confused — did I mess up somewhere or is first year just like this? If I am going in the wrong direction, I do really appreciate some guidance.
