As a long-time MP fan, but still a newbie..thought I'd share in case helps anyone else - leads failing to load/stick.

AI first told me the wrong type of pencil, then told me it took 0.7mm when it's definitely 0.5mm 🙄 It loads from the top/inside, but what eventually worked was emptying it out, then blowing as hard as I could down the top (good lungs workout!), while twisting in both directions for a few mins. Then eventually tried loading from the tip v.slowly, and finally got a catch 🥳 Had to twist/push in in stages, not sure if this'll be the new technique for ever, but arguably less effort than sending back to Cross/getting it fixed 😁 Hope it helps someone!
