Confused about paper trading
Hello guys, i have been paper betting for like 2 weeks now, and i decided to go live to test if the paper trades numbers are atleast half-true 😄 but i am very confused, so, in 14 days the system made
- Total Bets Placed: ~4000
- Net P&L: +$12231.20
- Overall ROI: 15.4%
- Win/Loss Breakdown:
- Losses: 2037
- Wins: 1942
But, after going live with a small balance to test it out i see the system in a roller coaster kinda, it goes like +5-10$ then drops to -15$ then back and so on.. its weird.. ok, i understood that it can't get all the bets like on paper trading because some odds move and we loss edge but cmon 😄. But i think based on the results on the paper, the edge seems real idk.
As for the bet sizes, on paper trading i used a fixed staked on 20$ per stake, max 250 opened positions on live i am using 5 shares each who can be 1$ or 3-4$ may that be a problem aswell? I am open to suggestions
