Graduation - Summer vs. Fall?

I'm doing Online Masters in Cybersecurity and I've been to the campus just once.

I have 2 options when it comes to graduation - to take practicum in Summer (2027) and graduate, or take it in Fall (2027) and then graduate.

My family could be coming from overseas for my graduation. So I just wanted to know if there's a big difference between Summer and Fall when it comes to graduation ceremony because I want to make sure that my family can have the best experience possible since none of them graduated from an educational institution in the US. Any comments would be helpful!

Does PUBP8813 count as elective course (for policy track)?

I'm going through the curriculum grid and Degree Works to make sure that I'm taking the right courses that count toward graduation.

I just discovered PUBP8813 (Human Dimension of Cybersec Public Policy). It kind of sounded interesting despite not being able to find the syllabus for this course, so I looked up this course number in Reddit and seems like it was available in previous semesters with different names.

The thing is, this course is not listed on the curriculum grid. (and I don't think I can see this on Degree Works because the the ones available on Degree Works is ECE8813, not PUBP8813).

Long story short, does PUBP8813 count as an elective course for policy track students? I'd also love to hear from someone who has taken this course before.

Hi all, I'm doing a group project about mobile app food ordering experience. My group is focusing specifically on Chipotle app, so you're eligible to participate if you've used the app within the last 6 months.

The survey takes around 5-7 minutes to complete. Once completed, please let me know by leaving a comment so that I can complete yours as well!

Courses that I've taken (and will take until Fall 2026):

Fall 2025: INTA6103, PUBP6725

Spring 2026: INTA6742, CS6750

Summer 2026: CS6035 (I know)

Fall 2026: PUBP8833, PUBP6502

The courses mentioned above amount to 21 credit hours. Apart from practicum (5 credit hours), there are 6 more credit hours left. I already have one in mind but can't really decide what to take for the remaining credit hours (3).

I know that elective courses can be taken from any track (including the courses listed in the Policy track). I kind of want to try a course from another track but they all seem to be very coding-centric.

Any elective course recommendation for a policy track student? Any suggestions/tips would be greatly appreciated!
