Console Players — Known Issues / Bug Reporting Thread

This thread is specifically for PlayStation and Xbox players to report ongoing bugs, crashes, performance issues, graphical problems, connection issues, missing content, UI problems, save issues, or anything else currently affecting the console version of the game. The goal here is to try and gather as many known console-related issues as possible into one organized post so the developers can clearly see what players are experiencing and hopefully respond accordingly. A lot of the same issues continue to be reported across multiple posts, so consolidating everything into one thread may help bring more visibility to the problems affecting the community.

If you’re posting an issue, please include what console you’re playing on whether that’s PS5, PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X, or Xbox Series S. Also try to explain exactly what happened, what you were doing when it occurred, whether the issue is repeatable or random, and if possible include screenshots or video clips. Error codes, performance details, crashes, FPS drops, freezing, stuttering, texture problems, audio issues, matchmaking issues, save corruption, UI bugs, or anything similar should all be documented as clearly as possible.

Please avoid vague comments without context. The more information everyone provides, the easier it becomes to identify patterns and hopefully help the developers isolate and fix the issues faster. If someone already posted the same issue you’re experiencing, reply under that report with your own experience rather than creating duplicate posts. Hopefully this can help improve communication between the console community and the developers while making the game more stable for everyone moving forward.

Playstation Phasmophobia THIS IS FOR YOU DEVELOPERS

Can we please stop pretending everything is fine with Phasmophobia on console and actually focus on fixing the game?

I’m saying this as someone who genuinely wants the game to succeed, but every update lately feels like two steps backward. Console players are constantly dealing with bugs, desync, inconsistent evidence, broken audio, matchmaking issues, performance problems, and new updates introducing even more problems while old ones still aren’t fixed. At this point the game honestly feels less stable than it did months ago.

What’s frustrating people the most is that it feels like the priority keeps being crossover events, cosmetics, and temporary content instead of fixing the actual foundation of the game. The Alan Wake stuff is cool for about five minutes, but none of that matters when the core experience is still unstable and frustrating to play. A lot of us on PlayStation bought this expecting a certain level of quality because it’s on the PS Store, and right now it feels like the game needs serious optimization and testing before more content keeps getting pushed out.

Nobody is asking for perfection. People just want the core game to actually work consistently. Fix the stability. Fix the performance. Fix the evidence issues. Fix the desync. Slow down on the events and focus on repairing the base game before trying to sell the next crossover or cosmetic grind. The community is losing patience because it feels like the foundation is being ignored while the game keeps getting layered with more unfinished systems.
