Hello, I am a high school student incoming sophomore. I was in band in 6th grade but I quit due to personal reasons. I haven’t touched a mallet or a drumstick since then but yeah I was in percussion. So I am moving to a new high school next school year and I was wondering how likely it would be that I am able to join the band again as percussion seeming I haven’t played in some years. I still do have memory of music reading, motions etc. If yes what are ways I can go about it.
