Did you like Aramis and Anne together?

I'm not sure, honestly. I always thought that Anne was the one initiating the scandalous relationship with Aramis and he kind of just went along with it. Everytime, she wanted to break the rules, she jumped onto every opportunity, kissed him first, and obviously Aramis kissed back. It's Aramis. With that said, I think deep down, Aramis perhaps wanted a family and adventure (although, honestly those two don't often coincide with one another...) and the Queen having his son was a representation of the life he wanted for himself but could never have. He committed treason by sleeping with the Queen while the King was very much still alive and well. Thus, I believe this forbidden aspect of the story propelled dramatically the feelings Aramis had for Anne instead of true genuine connection. Also, she was the Queen of France! How was Aramis going to stand a chance at rejecting those advances?

Lol, don't get me wrong. I love a good forbidden love story but it felt wrong to support this one. It always did. Hm.
