Fuse Energy £100 referral – useful if you have a heat pump but still need gas for a hob

I’ve recently switched while looking for a better setup for our heat pump.

We’re moving towards a TOU electricity tariff, but we still need to keep a gas supply purely for the hob. Because our actual gas consumption is tiny, the gas standing charge becomes a surprisingly big part of the annual cost.

Fuse appealed because of the very low gas standing charge, which makes it particularly interesting if you’re in the same position — mostly electric/heat pump, but not quite ready to get rid of gas completely.

They’re currently offering £100 account credit through referrals.

Referral code:

WPKCXI55517

For us, that £100 should cover at least a year of our remaining gas costs.

Obviously compare the tariff with your own usage, but thought I’d share as this particular setup won’t necessarily be obvious when comparing suppliers.
