A mother says they are bullying her child, and I don't think so.

So a student of mine, let's call him M, has been having problems with EVERYONE (he is autistic and very spoiled) from the beginning of the school year. The way he and his mother explain it, you would think that many kids are bullying him. But the moment you keep asking, you find out that many times, HE is the one who started name-calling or hitting people.
M sees it as playing jokes, no matter what he does, but the second another kid does the same thing to him or something similar, he complains to his mother that they are bullying him.

Example 1: The class stinks because they are 11 years old and the windows were closed. He says very loudly that it stinks " because X is stinky" in a mocking voice. X doesn't even reply but looks at him with a "WTF" face. So M literally stands up, goes to X , and slaps him in the face. Why? Because, according to him, X was sure to hit him. X did not raise his hand, move, or say anything, but M was convinced he was going to, so he hit him "first. " No matter that X has NEVER hit another student or done anything remotely violent.

Example 2: M says the rudest , nastiest things to other students, but he will complain the second someone says something to him and not mention what he did. He just claims that he said it jokingly but that the other kids said it to bully him.

I've got so many other examples.

Am I actually going crazy, or is this NOT bullying?
By the way , English is not my native language.
