First canoe suggestions
Hi, I’m sure this is a common post but looking for suggestions as Father’s Day approaches as I want to get a canoe for my husband. We have been wanting one for years but life got busy after having a child who is now 18 months old. We would love a canoe that we could all go out in, in lakes and calm water. Also thinking we would have more kids along the years to join. I would like an old town because we are in Maine and would like to support a Maine company.
I had in a mind a 16’ Camper ROYALEX and was going to look and likely purchase one this weekend but the guy sold it without telling me. So I’m feeling super bummed. I don’t see another one like this for sale near me. I see a lot of Discovery’s but worry about the weight and that’s why I liked the camper because it was super lightweight.
Anyways would like your suggestions, looking to spend around $600 or less.
