my psychiatrist prescribed 0.25mg xanax for my graduation and im on 200mg lamotrigine. is there anything i should be aware of? im always iffy with starting new medication. any warning signs or am i overthinking this and i'll be completely fine?

i was prescribed 3 0.25mg doses of xanax for graduation. 1 to see how itll react with me, and 2 for the day of because xanax (alprazolam) wears off relatively quickly apparently.
