There's a single public announcement for four GS15 positions. Three are around the DC metro and one is in my backwater. I applied immediately, but I'm assuming this will close fast if they're only taking 100 applications. Considering the surge of DMV folks looking to move over or up and the usual glut of (arbitrarily) disqualified applicants, there's a chance I could be the only qualified applicant for this location. Maybe wishful thinking, but why the heck are they approaching hiring like this!? I won't get my hopes up.
