Rank these and help me decide!

Hi so I am trying to decide between watching My Royal Nemesis, Spooky Love, Dream to You, Hotel de la Luna, Hometown ChaChaCha, Queen of Tears.

I like romcom and scifi/fantasy vibes but they dont have to happen together. Bonus points if its very funny and/or tropey.

If you had to pick one, which would you watch first? Rank them if you must :) Thanks!

2nd watch interpretations

I just finished the second watch through of LR and wanted to get everyone's thoughts on some of the moments I noticed more the second time through...so curious what you all think and if you agree with my takes on them...

The first thing is I was trying to decide whether SJ always loved Sol or if it only happened because she changed it by going back. I feel pretty confident that he has always loved her and she just didnt know it, based on the sequence of events throughout the different loops. I dont think she remembered the incident with the mailman mixup and so she never registered anything in the first unaltered timeline, but I took it as that had always happened just not to her memory. So on rewatch, I interpreted the beginning scene with the phone call that even then, he was still in love with her.

Later on, I think it was during the second timeline (first time Sol goes back) we saw SJ confess to her and take her to the hospital to see her mom. At this point, Sol really had no idea that she (or the driver) was the main cause of SJ demise, so why do you think she rejects him so wholeheartedly ? I still am unsure as to the reason. Later on of course she finds out its her causing all this cycle of death but at that point I dont see how she knows this yet...as far as she knows he just died in his hotel room but doesnt know why.

Which brings me to...the first death. Do we think this was always the driver guy or was it really an overdose? I like to believe it was always the driver but truthfully I am not sure. Curious on thoughts here.

Ok a few more random ones...

The grandmother. How long do you think she knows the whole thing? She seems to be aware from an early point like when she saved the watch for Sol. We probably will never know for sure but what do you all think of this? Its almost like she planned it all or was sort of some mystical force to bring them together.

The time loops are obviously really intertwined and kinda confusing to recount and at first I wasn't sure but upon rewatch I feel that SJ really remembers every single timeline variation that had been wiped away which is how he knew that TaeSung went out with Sol at one point. So he remembered living all of them together.

And lastly...which adult SJ is your favorite? I think its kinda sad he didn't become a singer but I also think it worked out better that way for him and Sol. And I wonder what changed in the timeline for that to happen. I kinda like the last variation the best.

If there's anything I missed or any plot points/timetwists someone noticed that was confusing or lends itself to interpretation I am so curious about it. Love this show so had to share some thoughts after the rewatch!

Experiences of licensed teachers from US?

I am a licensed teacher with about 7 years of teaching experience in the US. Teaching abroad is something I have thought about doing since I started my career and Japan was always a desired destination, but lately I have been hearing more about Korea. Side note is that I have a vocal cords disorder and teaching in the states can be difficult depending on the environment. I have heard that teachers with EPIK do not teach very many hours. I havent seen any recent posts on this topic so wanted to get some more recent feedback about EPIK as a program, preferably not from newbie grads who have never stepped foot in a classroom but from experienced teachers going to teach in Korea (of course any comments are helpful, but I think the experience for new grads is likely very different and thats not my case.) Any insights about schedules, responsibilities desk warming, class behavior, and school culture, also the program of EPIK as a whole, are appreciated. Also a caveat- I understand I would be a coteacher - kind of looking for a more lowkey teaching experience and cultural immersion, not really career advancement right now. Thanks for your thoughts!

How hard is it to teach high school IB in the first year?

I am considering taking a role at an IB school to teach biology and I am nervous about pacing and fitting it all in. I am used to a very slow paced curriculum where we can fall back as needed for students with special needs. How difficult is it to teach the first year and is the learning curve steep? Any thoughts or advice is appreciated!

How to move on from this kdrama

Woah woah someone send help...I am pretty new to the kdrama community and Lovely Runner just hit different. I will do a separate post with all my thoughts specifically but just wondering if fellow fans you have felt this strong urge to just rewatch the whole thing again? Like am I going crazy? This show just really impacted me in a way I cannot describe and I can't seem to stop thinking about it. Others can relate??

Job hunting stories

Wow just had to share the difficulty I am experiencing looking for teaching jobs again. I wholeheartedly wanted to leave however desperate times. I applied to a job and got a 2 minute later response from a recruiter. Its a learning specialist position and I believed I was an ideal candidate, having taught special ed students for my entire career and been trained in all sorts of executive functioning techniques etc. I asked for feedback because I was genuinely curious what qualifications I was missing. She listed my lack of a bachelor's in special ed (so apparently a Masters in Education isn't enough????)

I just had to share and was wondering if anyone else is facing similar challenges leaving the field and finding work elsewhere or having to return for financial reasons and it feeling completely impossible. Like what do these schools want? There's a teacher shortage and they want you to jump through hoops. Oh I'm so sorry my 7 plus years exprience isn't enough for you. Its just crazy and I feel like it really shouldn't be this difficult. Had to rant because I am so fed up.

I'm thinking of traveling across timezones (USA to Japan or Korea) to teach English. I have nocturnal seizures so my primary concern is how the jet lag would impact me. I have heard of timer caps and thought those would be helpful. Still have to talk to my doc. I am curious of experiences of people with epilepsy who have crossed timezones like this over 12 hours or so, especially if you have seizures in your sleep like me, how did you plan it to avoid lowering the threshold too much? Please share your tips, advice, stories. Thank you!
