Confused between private vs group safari in Kenya - need honest advice
i have been looking into kenya safaris for the past few weeks and honestly its getting a bit overwhelming with so many options i really want a proper private experience in Maasai Mara and Serengeti National Park but most group tours i see feel too rushed with full vehicles and tight schedules.
I am not the kind of person who wants to jump from one animal sighting to another on a fixed schedule. I would rather sit for a while, take it all in, and just enjoy the quiet of being out in the wild because of that i feel like a private safari makes more sense for me but I am not sure which company to trust. Reviews are very mixed. Some people have amazing experiences, while others mention poor coordination or average guides.
So my main question is simple. How do you actually find a reliable operator with a really good guide for a private safari?
Would really appreciate any advice from people who have done this recently.
