Innocent Bystander
A little bit of backstory for anyone who might be confused about how this situation started.
Before I ever started uploading videos about Innocent Bystander or the other user involved, Grim Rapper, Grim had been leaving some pretty unpleasant comments in the bio of someone I care about. At the time, I didn’t respond or involve myself.
Fast forward a little, and that same person made an artbook warning others about two users who they said had been stalking and harassing them. This was actually when I first came across Innocent Bystander. Innocent left a comment accusing several of us of actually being the same person/accounts and essentially suggesting that whatever was happening was therefore deserved.
Grim also left a strange comment claiming that we were “spiritually Israeli” and MAGA. This confused me because none of us had interacted with them personally or discussed our political beliefs with them. The artbook itself wasn’t even political, so I genuinely didn’t understand where those claims were coming from.
The closest explanation I can come up with for why Grim was accusing us of that is that someone I know was wearing Jewish-looking attire as a way of appreciating and connecting with heritage. It had absolutely nothing to do with Israel, the Israeli Palestinian conflict, or anyone’s political views. It was simply someone expressing appreciation.
That is why the comments concerned me so much. If those assumptions were being made solely because someone appeared visibly Jewish or was expressing their Jewish heritage, then I feel the remarks had antisemitic undertones. At the very least, I don’t understand why someone’s Jewish identity or cultural expression was being brought into a completely unrelated situation in the first place. Keep in mind they all keep to themselves.
Those comments are what originally prompted me to respond.
I made a satire video basically saying: if you want to know what my beliefs are, you can simply ask me instead of assuming them. And if you believe certain accounts belong to me, you can talk to me about that too. Even if you believe those accounts are mine, what exactly have they done? If there is evidence of harassment or wrongdoing from those accounts, show it to me and I will gladly discuss it.
I also poked fun at the MAGA accusation because I had never personally made that claim about myself. After that, I made a few other satire videos joking about some of the accusations being made.
Now Innocent has once again made another artbook about me and has taken the situation to Reddit as well. We have repeatedly tried to reach out and have an actual conversation with him, but those attempts have either been blocked, deleted, or ignored. This time, I screen-recorded what happened so there would be documentation of the attempt.
I also recently made another response video explaining my side and clarifying the situation. I specifically stated that it was not a hate video. I even went back and showed how this situation originally began, because I wanted people to understand why I responded in the first place.
At this point, I genuinely feel like I have tried to resolve this privately. I have offered to communicate directly, explain myself, hear their side, and look at whatever evidence they believe supports these accusations. Instead, more allegations continue to be made without evidence being provided when I ask for it.
If this were only about me, I honestly wouldn’t care nearly as much. But Watching and other people are now being dragged into it as well, and accusations are being made about them too.
That is where I’m at a loss. I’m not asking anyone to blindly take my side. I have a video up explaining everything. I just feel like if you're going to make accusations at least give evidence to all you say. Also, please keep in mind that we have never spoken privately before. We have absolutely zero personal messages or conversations with each other. There is no prior private interaction between us whatsoever.
