I think he's just challenging the industry. It's CEO Savage Meikoo's time to take be the brightest star in rap. It was bound to happen, he's been on that trajectory to have his moment for some time. The OGs have been tapped in to his movement. Lil Baby supported his brand, and I definitly don't think he meant any of those bars as a diss, but moreso of a challenge saying I'm the hardest rapper out now, and it's not close and it's not up for debate. I like devil at the door, it might scare some fans away, but that's kind of the point. It's a different kind of exclusivity.
