Background check
Got a full time employment offer in Industry X, automotive. Been self-employed for the last 5 years.
The background check is heavily focused on the actual contracts with the clients, looking specifically for contracts with start/end dates (which is not so simple. Contracts usually are on a fixed date then extended or cancelled, sometimes with delays, sometimes things can change abruptly. I simply cannot start giving them all my client contracts and annexes, it’s a lot of bureaucracy).
I am maintaining this as general as possible as this is becoming already a matter of confidentiality and company internal information. In the end, I don’t want to start sending documents almost fully redacted.
Most of the financial data can be found publicly by requesting the government financial organisations. I really don’t really understand what are they looking for. Has anyone gone through the same situation? It seems kinda pushy already.
