Now they're blaming Ben-Gvir's behaviour on his "Arabian heritage".

Now they're blaming Ben-Gvir's behaviour on his "Arabian heritage".

EDIT: note that he's actually not condemning Ben-Gvir, just insulting his heritage. It's actually worse than I initially realised.

This is honestly beyond parody. What next, skull callipers?

When someone pointed out that Kahane, Goldstein, Smotrich, Shamir are all Ashkenazi, this clown then claimed that they had "adopted the attitude of their middle eastern foes".

He also had the nerve to claim anyone calling his post racist was "a colonialist".

Also lmao imagine calling an Iraqi "Arabian" . Can't even be racist properly.

Am I misinterpreting this tweet?

EDIT: I've had a realisation. It seems that BM as an anti-Zionist former Israeli has not completely deconstructed his Israeli/Zionist chauvinism. First of all, he is dictating who is and who isn't a "true ally" which isn't his job as a former colonialist Israeli. He's quite literally talking over the MILLIONS Palestinians who graciously welcome Jewish people into the movement and have not once demanded we link our Judaism to Zionism. He also is exhibiting Israeli chauvinism in that he believes his whacko far-right version of Judaism is the *true* interpretation of Judaism (see his tweets claiming Judaism thinks the ten commandments only apply to Jewish people). He's done an amazing job exposing Zionism and its crimes but that doesn't make him an expert in what he's claiming to be, and it's clear he's got some shit to work out before he makes such confident, declarative statements like this.

It kind of seems like he's implying we should abandon Judaism based on the damage Zionism has done to it and how many of our fellow Jews have become ultranationalist nazis.

If I'm correct this seems to match with a sentiment from certain former Israelis whose upbringing was so steeped in Zionism that they believe it's inherent within Judaism somehow. An example would be Gilad Atzmon who now claims Judaism is the sole reason for the genocide (and has made comments sympathetic to Hitler). There's another former Israeli I know many people respect in this sub so I won't name them but I've seen them agreeing with Atzmon's sentiments and making excuses for his Nazism.

Heck, I have been admonished by some mega atheist anti-Zionist former Israelis who consider any Jewish cultural practice to be inseparable from Zionism or even genocidal interpretations of scripture (eg. Purim, Pesach, Hanukkah).

If my interpretation of BM is right, why do we even have this sub? Every now and then I see someone demanding Jews abandon Judaism because of Zionism and it feels like a cop-out.

If have misinterpreted, then I would be very relieved to know I had done so. I was never raised Zionist, and to be told that Zionism is inherent in my culture is pretty shit tbh.

Hey folks! Sorry if this is a weird question:

So I have this lovely little sterling silver Magen David hamsa pendant/charm which I have worn literally 24/7 for many years (under clothing, so it's not visible), however I am becoming quite tired of how such a symbol has been utterly bastardised again, and again, and again by the Zionist occupation.

More importantly, I was also told by a Palestinian that seeing such a symbol was for them a trigger, and I have no desire to make anyone feel that way if they inadvertently see my necklace (although the only other person who usually sees it is my partner when I'm changing clothes, but still).

However, I'm sure you can imagine I don't want to just chuck this silver pendant in the garbage, so I was wondering if anyone else here has perhaps any knowledge of how to apply some kind of permanent lacquer or enamel to silver in order to either hide/black out the star or perhaps change it to reflect the colours of the Palestinian flag (not sure if this is inappropriate so if any Palestinian comrades could give me an idea of their opinions I'd be very grateful, again I don't want to do something inappropriate!).

Any metalworkers here or people who've done similar in here?

I've already seen brain-broken conservatives claiming this image isn't antisemitic because Polanski is Ashkenazi and therefore "not a Semite".

Ben Marmarelli has been a rare light among a sea of monstrous darkness in occupied Palestine. I've been following him for updates and whilst they're rarely positive, it's still good to get an idea from a first-hand perspective on what things are like in "Israeli" courts.
