Hello,

I’ll study at UWaterloo this Fall and I’m looking for a place. I had a virtual view tour at 400B Albert and everything looks legit. I want to sign a lease with them, but they ask me to send them a deposit before seeing the actual lease (They did send me a copy of the standard lease for review though). My worry is that I’m not sure if the lease is still the same after I send them the deposit, as the deposit is not refundable (they said).

I’m wondering if anyone here has lived there before and can share their experience? Was it the same to you that you must send the deposit first? And did you have good experiences living at 400B Albert? Thank you so much!
