Howdy all, I know this subject has been brought up many times but I’m looking for some advice for my situation.

I currently run my QC 4 cable method into my evh 5150 iii 50 watt then into my Marshall 4x12 AV cab. I am never completely satisfied with the sound, I’ve tried an eq block, all that other stuff but am never like wow that sounds amazing.
I also have a Seymour Duncan PS200 that I use from time to time with the cab and QC but it’s missing something.

The other day I went straight into the return of the EVH power amp and it sounded amazing. I imagine that is due to being a tube power amp and maybe a little colour from the EVH.

My dilemma is do I sell the EVH and SD200 and invest in a tube power amp to only run my QC and have infinite options?
It seems a bit pointless to keep the EVH just as a power amp.

Options I was looking at were the Fryette PA-100, KSR 50 or the Mesa boogie fifty/fifty(although I heard they may colour the tone too much)

Really looking for that big low end oomph and sounding big, which the SD200 didn’t really do for me.
