Hi all,

Had a fissure 4 years ago which took 4 rounds of rectogesics and 9 or so months to fully heal at which point I developed this issue on the opposite side. Has never bled or caused any pain though can occasionally feel a little irritated which I think is just friction from movements. It’s not very solid or like a fixed lump but it can look firmer after a bowel moment. If this a skin tag? I have an anoscopy and possible excision next week but am paranoid it’s going to turn out to be an active haemorrhoid that they they won’t treat.
