I am contacting a bankruptcy attorney to get more information but would love to hear from others.

I’m 60+k in cc and consolidation loan debt and about 180k on my house. Currently, there are at least three large repairs I need done on the house (floors/subflooring, crawlspace encapsulation, and siding/insulation). I’ve looked up what my house may go for and it’s only about 8k more than I owe and less than what I paid for it. I dont think it’s worth it to keep my house at this point- I can’t afford the repairs.

Anyone in a similar situation with their home? Did anyone let it go?
