Hey so I am practicing stamping again, thing is I've been avoiding resolene as a finish cause I have very mixed feelings about putting petrol-based stuff on my leather.

Is there any other technique to preserve the stampings that doesnt involve covering the surface with acrylics?
I am really open for suggestions and I am not afraid of doing some mixing or preparation myself if I have to.
