Deciding on a new smart watch/fitness watch..
Hiya! I’ve been a shorter distance/casual runner for a few years and recently took an extended break to deal with an injury. I’ve come back and am feeling great so decided to do a half marathon.
I have an Apple Watch that I’ve been using for a few years now and am thinking of upgrading/switching platforms. Main reason being that for longer activity, Apple Watch battery seems to drain really fast.
I’ve also tried whoop but don’t like the lack of a screen (which I enjoy both during my runs and for work related things).
I know that Garmin is the common one for runners. Am I going to miss any of the Apple Watch features? Would anyone suggest going for a newer/better model of the Apple Watch instead? Lmk your thoughts!
