Looking for immigration lawyer experienced with CEC applicant working in Quebec but intending to settle outside Quebec
Hi everyone,
I recently received an ITA under CEC while living and working in Alberta. Before submitting my e-APR, I will be moving to Montreal for a temporary postdoctoral position (closed work permit). My genuine long-term intention is to settle outside Quebec, so I am looking for an immigration lawyer who has actually handled CEC applications where the applicant was living/working in Quebec at the time of submission and had to demonstrate intent to reside outside Quebec.
My application is otherwise straightforward, so this is really the only issue for which I want experienced legal help. I have no prior ties to Quebec of any kind.
Has anyone here personally used a lawyer for a similar situation, particularly someone who successfully handled the Quebec-intent evidence? I would really appreciate recommendations based on personal experience.
Thank you!
