Wendy Akinyi, founder of Spairally, recently tweeted about struggling to find talent with the drive and creativity to build something world-class.

It reminded me that a few weeks ago Spairally ran their platform open + free and the UX/UI had a lot of issues. They also hosted a redesign hackathon with a KSh 10,000 prize, but I didn’t see any follow-up on who won.
