Took the INSTER Cross for a weekend spin

Hi little INSTER Community,

I thought I’ll share some views on my past weekend trip with the INSTER Cross.

Background: I’m already a happy Ioniq 5 N-Line owner. Now, as our family is growing, my partner will
soon need a ride.
It must be an EV for her, small, not too expensive - so we started to check out the Hyundai INSTER and could take the Cross version for a spin during last weekend.

And what shall we say? It’s amazing how the tech from the IONIQ 5 can be easily found in the little Inster. Everything is just smaller but fits perfectly to the size of the car.
Its looks - according to my partner - incredibly cute. My take: it’s drives well with normal speeds, the consumption is pretty good and the car is so freaking practical. Check out the pics - we were transporting a 2,40 meter item. With the folded front seat it’s incredibly spacious!

The connectivity does its job. Traffic, speed cams were all shown the same way (and correctly) as in my IONIQ 5.

Driving stats:
Mostly highway (70%), 120-130kmh/h tops, rest city.

Now, the charging: we stopped once at IONITY to check how „fast“ it charges. 80KW tops, which basically meant adding 20% charge during a not-too-quick pee break.

My partner is already missing the INSTER - we will now look for purchasing options, she’s sold :)

Let me know if you want to know more, I’ll try to answer the best I can.
