One of the more smoother playing Maddens

My biggest gripe about newer Maddens is the amount of pinballing on tackles. Drastic warping and animation speeds being too fast. Ironically, one of the most overlooked Maddens for next gen, Madden 21 (Next Level Edition) has pretty smooth gameplay out of the box, but if you lower the global speed floor to the absolute minimum, you get a remarkably smooth experience.

4th down conversions, TDs, 2PT, Onside kick, game winning TD and game-sealing INT. This game had everything!!! I had Alex Smith seeing Ghosts except for an epic click-on fail from me, and get the 49ers calling a nice C2 beater down the middle. I have no idea but I have more fun playing Gamecube Madden than current madden. Lol. All-Madden feels challenging and rewarding for good play calling.

This is a 360 Madden, and yet here I am marveling over the quality. Beneath that warm haze and blurry film grain is a beautiful game. Yes, EA always went overboard with either warm or cool filters, but the art director during this time period needs to either come back or remember their roots. These older engines with newer hardware would produce A tier Maddens. I'd love to see all 360 and original Xbox Maddens become backwards compatible. If money-grabbing Activision did it like a decade ago, why can't EA do something similar?
