I just finished first year and Im thinking of taking a summer course (orgo 2, mandatory for my program), the main reason would be to lighten up my course sequence next fall and have more time to take other heavy courses (physics) and just more electives id like to take + ecs. The prof teaching it this summer also happens to be the best and wont be teaching it in the fall. I would still be taking 5 courses next fall. I know some schools dont have restrictions around course loads and some do want to see 30 credits per year. I guess what I'm asking is would it be a bad look taking a harder course to get it over it in the summer?
