Chat usage prompt - power user!

I asked ChatGPT to analyze my usage metrics and it said I was a power user now I want to see other people blow my metrics out the water 🙃.

Simplified prompt below if anyone wants to try it:

“Analyze my ChatGPT usage patterns using whatever conversation/message metadata you can access. Include active days, average conversation depth, average message length, estimated words typed, usage category breakdown, whether I use ChatGPT more like a search tool, assistant, coach, tutor, journal, strategist, or external brain, plus strengths, risks, recommendations, and a final user archetype label. Be honest, practical, and a little fun.”

If people share their results I’ll share mine & if anyone wants the long prompt let me know.

Two GPT Accounts from different years

I got the chance to prompt an older account 2023-2024 and a newer account 2025-2026 and compare and contrast the outputs to the prompts. I shared the results with the other one. The results were deeply personal but I wanted to share the prompt in case anyone else wanted to try with their chat.

Prompt:  I want you to reflect on what you know about me from our past conversations, memories, and any available context in this account. Please give me a thoughtful but honest profile of me. Do not flatter me generically. Do not invent facts. Clearly separate what you know, what you infer, and what you are uncertain about. Structure your answer like this: 1. **What you seem to know about me** * Summarize the concrete facts, themes, projects, goals, interests, and life circumstances you associate with me. * Include the time period or “era” of my life this information seems to come from, if you can tell. 2. **The version of me reflected in this account** * Describe the person I appear to have been during the conversations you remember. * What was I trying to build, solve, understand, heal, learn, or become? 3. **Patterns you notice** * Identify repeated themes in my questions, projects, concerns, or ambitions. * Include emotional, professional, creative, intellectual, and practical patterns. * Use “I notice…” statements rather than diagnosing me. 4. **My strengths** * Name strengths that are supported by specific patterns in my conversations. * Explain why you think each strength is real, not just a compliment. 5. **Possible blind spots or growth edges** * Gently identify places where I may get stuck, scatter my energy, overthink, under-resource myself, avoid decisions, or need better systems. * Keep this constructive and nonjudgmental. 6. **Insightful statements** * Give me 8–12 deeper observations about who I am, what I value, how I work, and what I may be moving toward. * Make these specific enough that they could only apply to someone with my history, not generic life advice. 7. **What you may be missing** * Tell me what parts of my life you probably do not know enough about. * Mention any important uncertainty, outdated information, or gaps in your memory. 8. **What I should preserve from this chapter of my life** * Based on what you know, what knowledge, projects, writings, lessons, or personal themes should I carry forward into my next ChatGPT account or next life phase? 9. **A concise summary** * End with a short paragraph beginning with: “The person reflected in this account is…” Please be candid, warm, precise, and insightful. I am comparing this answer across two ChatGPT accounts, so make your response useful for seeing how different eras of my life are represented. I’d use the exact same wording in both accounts, then compare: **facts remembered, tone, life-era, recurring themes, strengths, and blind spots.**

Best goodnight poem ever

The stars are tiny HR representatives
approving your request
for eight hours of being unavailable.
So power down,
soft mammal with Wi-Fi,
close the tabs in your skull,
and let sleep take the wheel
like a raccoon stealing a golf cart
into the velvet woods.
