Hello - apologies but I’m currently in week eight of PEC hell… the role only requires the basic level of checks.

So, I’ve not had any updates on the portal in over five weeks however had heard from the recruiter just over a week ago that they were waiting on some additional information from HMRC, then they’d do right to work checks before sending the formal offer through. On the portal it’s showing my employment history and pension checks are outstanding.

I know it’s a “how long is a piece of string” situation, but is it normal for the last pieces of information to be taking such a long time? I’d have imagined that this last bit would have been sorted at this stage - do I chase further?
