Best way to deposit ~€30k cash into a Swiss bank account?
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for advice on the most efficient and cost-effective way to deposit around €30'000 in cash into my Swiss bank account.
The money is fully legitimate (wedding presents), but since it’s a relatively large cash amount, I’d like to avoid unnecessary complications, excessive fees, or triggering avoidable scrutiny/compliance headaches with the bank or authorities.
For instance, I know that even with an EUR bank account at ZKB they anyway take 0,75% of the deposit. I don't want to pinch the pennies, but I'd basically give them €225 to be able to deposit my money? 🤨
Has anyone dealt with a similar situation or have recommendations?

Edit: I don't mind having them in EUR or in CHF, I just want to deposit the cash. I will most likely transfer itto my investment account anyway, but my question is strictly regarding the deposit.
